About
C6 Bank is a fully digital Brazilian bank. During my time there, it offered three types of accounts—personal, business, and international—along with a diverse range of financial products, including credit and debit cards, investments, transactions, payment machines, and services to simplify payments.
My role
As a Product Designer, my main projects included the Design System—components for iOS and Android, illustrations, and icons—and the bank’s first investment platform. Additionally, I explored and pitched future design opportunities to elevate the overall user experience.

A blank page. That’s what inspired me to join the UX team at the not-yet-born C6 Bank. On day one, we were five designers (no UX strategy, no design process, no visual identity) yet nearly 50 people were already coding.
A year later, our UX team had tripled, the company had grown to 500+ employees, and the bank was live. I witnessed an idea take shape, reach real people, and improve financial lives.
Our shared goal was to redefine banking in Brazil. We built a transparent, user-friendly experience (no fine print, no jargon) designed to educate, empower, and simplify money management, all wrapped in beautiful design and seamless motion.

In the concept phase, we aimed to create something beautiful, distinct, and functional—easy to develop and visually consistent. The Product Designers worked with the Research team to build a user-tested prototype that scored well on the System Usability Scale, all while keeping close communication with developers to avoid complications.
Once the visual language and key interactions were defined, we focused on the component library and illustration system, continuously testing and iterating as we designed new product screens.

As the Design Lead on this project, I worked closely with business and development teams to shape the bank's first platform, creating high-fidelity prototypes, conducting user testing, and refining designs through iterative improvements.

The system should be easy to use by anyone, not just those who are into drawing. Since we were working with Lottie animations, keeping the style simple helped designers and developers alike.
The guide was about keeping illustrations consistent and showing when and how to use them, the illustrations should have a purpose, not just fill empty space.
